We'd like to thank you and the band for the sterling performance on 5th July at our wedding. We had a brilliant time and you got all our guests on the dancefloor! We really loved the music and were so glad we chose you. You played your socks off!

We just wanted to say the most enormous thank you for doing such a brilliant job on Saturday night! You absolutely nailed it and our permanently full dancefloor was testament to how much fun everyone had. We also especially appreciated your amazingly 'can do' attitude throughout the build up and especially on the day - you totally saved my bacon on the reels (which were a huge success!) and took a last minute song request with Journey that really sealed the evening for us. A very tardy thank you for Saturday night. You were amazing - as ever! Completely made the evening for me and we had such a good dance. Just a quick message of thanks from myself and all who were present at the Tallis May Ball on May 16th. We could not have asked for a better performance, and the fact that you had virtually all of the 150 students present on the dance floor for the entirely of both your sets speaks for itself. The comments following this event from the students were very complimentary to the band although I will refrain from quoting them directly as the flattery from such numbers of eighteen year old girls would be to the serious detriment of your health.

Many thanks for a great session on Friday as we had so many positive comments from friends which will no doubt provide possible new opportunities from the Wandsworth crowd in the future.

A massive thank you for providing us with such a brilliant band for the 007 Ball. The Top Hat Band were incredibily slick - they read the audience really well and made sure everyone danced all night, from the the moment that came on stage. They are all extremely talented musicians and nothing was too much trouble. I particularly want to thank you for being so flexible with our last minute demands, you were an absolute pleasure to work with.

Just to say thank you so much - you played at our wedding in Woodhall Space on Friday. Just back from a quick week away after the wedding and wanted to say how brilliant the band were. That's the fourth time i have now seen them, and i must say they get better and better! You got the mix just right and you didn't once lose your captive audience, quite unusual I would say. We have just got home from our honeymoon. Back to reality now sadly! Well the dust has settled after the wedding, Kate and Rick have been dispatched to Mexico on Honeymoon, and we have a complex spreadsheet with a rota for looking after the kids while they are away. My voice finally gave up and I had to take time off work on Monday and Tues (can't have a pilot who can't speak!) I've had nothing but praise and compliments from everybody both on the night, the next morning and since then as well, about how fantastic the band and the music were - you bowled everyone over! I'm so glad you were able to make it happen for us - many many thanks from us all. Also thanks so much for the amazing arrangement of Old Wild Men. The song means so much to our family - when you played it for us in Greenwich years ago it became a memorial to my Dad ever since then (if you remember he did some work with 10cc on the Gizmo attachment for the guitar). There wasn't a dry eye in the house on Saturday as we dedicated it to everyone's departed loved ones. I'm just gutted that I croaked my way through it! Thank you so much for entertaining us on Saturday night. You got it absolutely spot on! Everyone I spoke to said what an amazing band. Sophie and I were also delighted to hear that the party carried on once we had gone! We will always remember when you fired up with George Ezra and then went straight into Dancing in the Dark. Exactly what we wanted. Your whole team were so professional, the stage looked brilliant and the sound quality was exceptional.

Firstly may I apologise for taking so long to write to you and the band. Time has just flown by since we returned from our honeymoon in Africa. However, I wanted to write to you all to say than you so much for making our wedding reception an excellent night for us and all our guests. So many people have told us there was a real buzz at the Courtyard in Ipswich at our reception and it was your band that ensured everybody really enjoyed themselves. Gilly and I had an excellent day and thoroughly enjoyed listening and dancing to some of our favourite songs, especially the Paul Weller song, "You do something to me" which you played for our first dance. It was great.

Further to our Oscars Party at the Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel in London on Friday we would like to extend our thanks for the superb evening's entertainment. Everyone has commented how much they enjoyed the evening. Once again many thanks for your contribution and for making our party a success.

I just wanted to get in touch to say a massive thank you for playing at our wedding at the Assembly Rooms in Bath back in July. Throughout the whole process you were fantastic. Talking us through your options for the sets and putting us at ease that you would cater for the entire audience. Your website, with options to go through your extensive set list, was really incredible. What can I say? The Top Hat Band were awesome!! I can't thank you and the band enough for a wonderful evening's entertainment. The jazz in the afternoon was just right and very mellow. So many of my friends really enjoyed themselves and the dance off was hilarious. All the men were wearing their ties round their heads at the end as some form of tribute to the Top Hat Band! Not sure where to post a review but we couldn't not raise one after the amazing job you did! The Top Hat Band have now played at three family weddings and I expect they'll play at several more of our friends and family given how great they were/are! They kicked off proceedings with a great rendition of "Ain't no mountain high" before playing a number of our old favourites. The dance floor was packed all night. We'd given a fairly comprehensive list of all the songs we loved from their set list, and they managed to squeeze pretty much all of them in. They do three sets (more than any other band we looked at) which makes it feel like they're on all night! They really are remarkable and we look forward to seeing them at a number of our friends weddings in the future!!

We are however extremely sorry for just how long it has taken to put pen to paper and get this letter out to you. You have been firmly in our thoughts and we wanted you and all the guys to know how grateful we are for all your efforts in making our wedding weekend come alive over the course of the two nights! It was brilliant working with you throughout the build up. You were extremely accommodating, working with Ben so that we could make full use of the awesome sound equipment, helping us to build a set up that would not only work across two night but that would fit within our budget and your fantastic ideas for the line up adjustments each evening worked better than we could have ever imagined. The result was the perfect band that worked amazingly well for two very different nights. It was just perfect. Rob was brilliant as the front man on our wedding night as was the whole band, plus thank you for stepping in at the last minute and providing a cracking DJ set. You were all such great fun throughout the night and really got everyone going. Both set lists worked so well for our guests. Both kept the dance-floor absolutely buzzing all night from the moment we finished the first dance right the way through to the multiple chants of "Just one more!". We couldn't have asked for a better night and still to this day have friends and family buzzing about you guys. Thank you also so very much for all your help and support with our unusual first dance request! Our last minute dance moves at least gave everyone a good laugh and you guys were not only such great sports but hugely talented I must say in being able to adapt the intro to work with us and to give us a helping hand throughout the dance. After rather a few drinks beforehand it really was extremely good fun and, especially with just how great the band sounded straight from the off, made sure the dance floor kicked off with a band! Thank you so much for making it possible. Following on from the day of the wedding the Saturday night was just much fun. You guys were brilliant, getting the guests up on their feet and involved and so kindly having two of them to join you for a few numbers! I have to say that our most wonderful moment was when you guys did the piece with Jimi! We were absolutely over the moon and highly impressed that you all managed to pull it off so wonderfully well. It brought back some very fond memories of partying the night away in Scotland and we were just thrilled not only to re-live that in such epic fashion but to see just how well you and Jimi got eveyrone rocking! The whole night was everything I could have dreamt of and so much more! You all really got the party going and while of course we were sad to see you leave, we can safely say that the energy you created continued and we partied all night long and well into the morning! Probably a good thing that you managed to escape when you did!

We just wanted to write a short note to thank you and your band so much for the fabulous evening we had dancing and celebrating with your music at our wedding in Bath. You did an amazing job. Likewise your string quartet music at the Guildhall in the afternoon was also excellent and really added to the enjoyment of everyone attending. We also wanted to thank you particularly for the good humoured and well organised communications we had with you to mak all the detailed arrangements. It really was a massive task for you. We will certainly recommend you to any friends looks for live music at an event. You did us proud.

Just a small note to say thank you so much for being part of our wedding and keeping everyone on the dance floor! The Dutch songs were amazing and you completely over delivered on learning those! It was the most incredible day. Will definitely be recommending you!

You won't believe how many of our guests have said how much they enjoyed your sets on the night and I've never seen a band work so hard. From strange requests to belting out Erasure half an hour after you should have started packing up, you went way beyond our expectations. You set up silently, despite having other musicians on the stage when you arrived and then you literally rocked till way after midnight. The dance floor was full all night and all age groups from one to 87 were spotted having a good old shimmy. Thank you so much chaps.

We fully believe that a good band is the making of any party and this certainly proved to be the case again. You were amazing - as always. We both just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you for being absolutely UNBELIEVABLE, you were just all incredible. Our only real concern in the run up to the wedding was whether or not the party would "go", I think it was fair to say it most certainly went! Mark and I wanted to drop you a note to say a very big 'thank you' for the wonderful music and entertainment the band provided at our reception on 27 July. They were truly great musicians and as one of my friends said, David Gray could have been there singing for us! Not only did all our guests enjoy the music, but we had a great boogie and our first song was very special. We have had lots of comments about the great mix of music and ability to get everyone up dancing, although they didn't need much encouragement!

Thank you thank you thank you. You guys were FANTASTIC. I'm sure the Baraset Barn hasn't rocked like that ever before (or for a long time to come!) My only disappointment was that I didn't get to dance more! (The price of being the bride... had to be sociable). We have had so many comments about how good you were, and you in no small way made the evening reception a big success. That you soooo much to you all.

I know it's almost a month since the band played (18th April, Addington Palace) however I would like to say a belated thank you to you and the band. They were really good, engaged the audience a lot and didn't eat too much from the buffet, at least not when i was looking! We had a number of compliments from guests of various ages and taste. One of my uncles thought they could be the new U2 although I think he might have had a bit too much to drink! I would definitely recommend the band to others.

We wanted to thank you and the guys from the Top Hat Band for a phenomenal wedding party. As we knew they would be, the band was superb - excellent playing and singing and a perfectly judged set-list which always responded to the dance floor. After the event we had several texts, emails and letters mentioning how good the band were in addition to a barrage of enthusiastic compliments on the night itself). In particular several of our musician friends remarked on the excellent musicianship of the players and how they got the perfect balance of performing with charisma and presence but never once being selfish. We had an amazing time and would recommend the band to anyone without reservation. A special thanks to the guys for their willingness to learn Zorba's dance. They nailed it and it went down a storm with English and Greek guests alike not to mention it inspired dance moves from my uncles from Cyprus the likes of which I've never witnessed in my life!). Finally, it was a pleasure dealing with you in the run-up to the big day. Thanks for your time, approachability and good humour on the phone and email and your utter professionalism from the first time we got in contact. We had the most amazing wedding day that was everything we hoped for and a lot more - a real credit to the energy, creativity, enthusiasm and intelligence of the professionals such as yourself that we had on board.

Charlotte and I are so extremely grateful to you and the band for being on absolutely mind blowing form at our wedding. We knew we wanted the dance floor to be good but you made it an absolute belter, which we will never forget! Everyone was exhausted the next day and loved every minute of your set. Thank you for helping us through American Pie, it turns out I'm not word perfect! We really look forward to seeing you at Thady and Zoe's on Saturday.

They got everybody dancing and contributed a great deal to making the whole evening a success. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and certainly, given the comments received from our friends, neither would the rest of our guests.

An enormous thank you to you and your band for the most incredible performance - you managed to keep the dancefloor heaving the entire night which was just perfect, so much so that neither Harry nor I even strayed as far as the cheese board! I'm Nick's new mother in law!! As Nick booked you for their wedding evening and organised everything with you I haven't emailed you before but I had to let you know that EVERYONE that I have spoken to has been full of praise for the band at the wedding!! Let us start by apologies for such a well deserved thank you being so late... we had great intentions but we really wanted to wait to get the photos back from Ian as he took some corkers... You totally nailed our first dance- it was amazing- you guys really did pull out all the stops. I think between Mike and I we spent the majority of the evening on the dance floor- but looking through all of our photos, our guests seemed to do the same. Mum and Dad have always commented that they never go to weddings like a Hat Band Wedding- the dance floor, of old and young, is packed. You managed to sneak in all the Hues favourites (a new one for Dave- he grins every time he replays Blur's Country House) and the whole night the mix was perfect. Mike and I both love dancing, and as my legs and feet reminded me the morning after- I didn't miss many songs! Hopefully we will have done a Rob and Alice and you might get some more business from us yet and we can have another good old dance and sing along... But I am sure that there are already talks of whether we can justify a Hues Christening Hat Band (Rob and Alice have safely had baby Evelyn)..... if not we'll have to wait for our 30th's! I have been wanting to get in touch for ages but unfortunately life has been a little hectic since the 20th so I though an email would be the way forward... to say a huge huge huge thank you to the band for making the very best of extremely difficult circumstances at our reception on the 20th after the extremely high winds brought down a tree onto the local substation which had a disastrous effect on the electricity at the racecourse. I wanted to ask you to pass on our huge thankyous to the band. They were just fantastic, totally un-flappable and were so calm and extremely reassuring that they would plan on regardless... and they did. Our first dance was perfect and I know the dance floor was packed until the electricity totally piled in and led to us having to evacuate. I have had so many people telling me how amazing they thought the band were and even when we were all kicked out of the racecourse due to fire hazard caused by the electricity totally failing, they grabbed the guitars on the steps outside in very chilly weather and carried on singing. I am sure that many other bands would have thrown the towel in and left us to freeze but your guys really were just brilliant... we had such a superb, fantastic day and had such a brilliant party planned. Even the poor pig roast had to go to waste and I had been so looking forward to the band but the weather unfortunately had other ideas. But I just wanted to let you know just how fantastic the band were in such difficult circumstances. I really cannot thank you enough. You were so easy to work with in the lead up to the wedding as well that we will certainly be in touch again for the next bash.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for playing and singing at Thomas and Shawn's wedding on 13th June. As at Jessa's you made the evening and got everyone dancing immediately. I just hope you got your supper with time! Two more children to go, but hopefully not next year at least - I need a break!! Thanks again to all of you.

You certainly seemed to get everyone enjoying themselves, to the point where on guest split the trousers of his new suit right through the crotch as he boogied to your Blues Brothers tracks!!
